Medical Daith Piercing ?

Clearly in todays market, as the daith piercing becomes more know for helping with issues such as migraines. You the public are looking for credibility, results and qualification. You no longer need to go to a body piercing studio to get this done, relying on chance and luck. This is why I set up Daith Medical Ltd, the worlds only dedicated daith piercing service. 

Many people ARE benefiting from this and also many are disappointed with the result. 

I post something on social media and get “it does not work” “rubbish” posts from people who have tried this. Now there is an element of these that dont respond to VNS therapy that well but also a large number who have simply, not had this done correctly. Every month I see several people who already have the piecing, many of which just have a cosmetic daith which does nothing for most. There are people who call themselves medical daith piercers who clearly have no idea. 

Its confusing, so here is a quick guide to finding someone to help. To me the definition should be clear as it is at my clinic Daith Medical Ltd

1) Someone who has medical malpractice insurance, who is insured to pierce you for medical reasons. 

2) Someone with a knowledge of anatomy and physiology who has done a complimentary medical qualification.

3) Someone who is able to risk assess properly, ask the right questions, take a history of ailments and pierce people who this can work for without taking chances.

4) A caring practitioner who understands how to achieve help for a patient or client. (See Google Reviews)

5) Someone who keeps meticulous records and can recall all details of treatment done, together with updates and results gained. You may well see that customer/client several times over the course of 10 years. 

If your a piercer fair play, but dont offer a medical daith piercing if you dont understand what you are doing, if you not insured and if you dont keep records of treatments. 

I have dedicated a large part of my life (since 2010) to making this form of Vagus Nerve Stimulation work, spending years trying different techniques and using electrical gadgets to find the point. Having worked with and shared data and my knowledge with doctors and neurologists. I clearly believe Daith Medical Ltd is the most professional and successful and possibly the only true “Medical Daith Piercing” you can get.

A medical daith piercing is not a daith piercing done by someone looking to earn more from a piercing by calling it medical. To me this is a passion, I am happy when I am getting results and I continue to record and improve my technique and consultation to the benefit of my client.
